                      Willie Alphonso Bobo played 8 seasons in the Negro Leagues. His best season was in 1925 while playing for the St. Louis Stars. He hit a team best .359/.451/.439 with an OPS+ of 167. He also led the Stars in Hrs (14) and rbis (84).

Bobo helped lead the Shamokin Stogies to the 1925 SCL Championship. As the team MVP he was an All-Star, while leading the Stogies in OBP, SLG, Hrs, doubles, triples, runs, rbis, and walks.
