Youngs was the 1st overall pick in the 1917 SCL Draft. He was a member of the 1921 SCL Champion Baltimore Terrapins. In the Series he hit .357 with 10 hits, 4-doubles and 1 triple.
He was the Terrapins team MVP in 1920 and a 2X All-Star. (1918, 1920)
