               Cornelius Francis “Neal” Finn played just 2 seasons in the SCL, winning an SCL championship in both seasons. In his only ab in the ALCS he hit a PH Hr in the 9th inning of a    12-0 Gorillas win over the Racers.  In the 1931 World Series he appeared in 3 games for the Crimson Tide. He had 4 hits, and scored 3 runs, hitting .364.

Neal Finn hit .274/.314/.337 for the 1931 Brooklyn Dodgers. Good enough to receive 5 MVP votes, finishing 19th in the voting.  He edged out, among others, several SCL luminaries: Watty Clark, Paul Derringer, Charlie Root, Tony Cuccinello, and Lefty O’Doul.
