Miller James Huggins was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1964 as a manager. He led the Yankees to 6 American League pennants, winning 3 World Series. ( 1923, 27, 28 ) His 1067 wins is the 4th best all-time for the NY Yankees.

As a player he led the National League in walks on 4 occasions.
