                      Born: April 27, 1889, Bolivar, TN.

                      Died: June 19, 1916, Mobile, AL.

                      Hit by a pitch in the face by Tom “Shotgun” Rogers while playing for the Mobile                        Seagulls of the Southern Association League. He walked off the field before passing                        out in the clubhouse shower room. He died of a brain hemorrhage shortly after.


                      A 7th round pick by the Sharples Works Turks in the 1913 draft.
