John Barney “Dots” Miller was a member of the 1911 SCL Champion Gashouse Gorillas, and the AL Wild Card Kenmore Miners in 1914.  In 1912 Dots Miller finished in the top 10 in the SCL in RBI(8th-88), Triples(8th-17), Doubles(10th-32) and Extra Base Hits(8th-53).

    In his Rookie season Dots Miller was a member of the 1909 Champion Pirates. He hit .279 with 87 RBI, 3rd in the NL. He received one Hall Of Fame vote in 1948.
