               Bob McClure was the SCL Rookie of the Year and Pitcher of the Year in 1920. The only player to ever win both awards in the same season. He was an All-Star, and his 1.91 ERA led the SCL.

 Bob McClure played 11 seasons in the Negro leagues. His best season was 1925 playing for the Birmingham Black Sox. His 15-4 led the team and was good for 3rd place in the NNL.
