           Bernardo Baro played 7 seasons in the Cuban league and 15 seasons in the Negro Leagues. In 1922/23 he hit .401 for Almendares to lead the Cuban League in hitting. His .311 average is 5th all time in the Cuban League. He was inducted into the Cuban League Hall Of Fame in 1945.

Bernardo Baro played for 10 different teams and 7 Franchises in the SCL. He was a 2x All-Star (1921, 1922), and was a member of the 1926 NL Pennant winning Baltimore Terrapins. In his final season he hit .412 as a pinch hitter for the Seattle Rainiers. He finished the season and his career with 7 hits and 4 rbi in his last 10 Abs.
