Cy Blanton (Starlings) vs Lefty Grove
After the NL Failed to score in the 1st, Alejandro Oms (Vipers) led off the AL 1st with a double in the gap. Rap Dixon (Vipers) singled him to 3rd, and an rbi groundout by Arky Vaughn (Nine) scored Oms to put the AL up 1-0. A George Scales' (Gorillas) double scored Dixon, and a Lazaro Salazar single drove in Scales with the final run of the inning.
3-0 AL
With 2 outs and Turkey Stearnes (QC) on 1st in the 3rd, and Martin Dihigo (Gorillas) on the mound, Willard Brown (Terrapins) doubled him home, and Billy Terry (Caterpillars) singled in Brown to get the NL with in a run.
3-2 AL
In the AL 6th Joe Vosmik (Nine) singled and went to 3rd on a Matt Carlisle (Vipers) double. Vosmik scored on a groundout by Gabby Hartnett (Vipers), and Martin Dihigo, now playing 3rd for the AL launched a long 2-run home run to put the AL up by 4 runs. 6-2 AL
Red Ruffing (Gorillas), Johnny Allen (Skeeters), and Spoon Carter (Vipers) combined to toss 5 shutout innings, Mel Ott (Pines) hit a solo home run in the 8th to finish off an easy AL victory.
7-2 AL
A tough choice for MVP, but Martin Dihigo’s 2-run home run in the 6th was the game breaker.
The AL's 11th win narrows the NL dominance in the SCL All-Star game to 15-11.
